Roles & Permissions

Three accounts, three genuinely different experiences of the same portal — not just hidden menu items, but different data. Every screen on this page was captured from that role's own real login, not simulated or described from the admin's view.

Admin
Sees everything, every vendor, every configuration page
Coordinator
Runs the full pipeline day-to-day, no org configuration
Vendor
Only their own proctors; the sole role that confirms Demo/Assessment readiness
Same screen, different numbers

Landing Dashboard

All three roles land on the same home screen after signing in, but a Vendor's numbers are already narrowed down before they click anything: 5 proctors, 10 interview selects for this one vendor, against the Coordinator's (and Admin's) full 12 proctors, 18 interview selects across every vendor. The menu on the left shrinks to match — a Vendor never even sees a link to a page they can't use.

Admin
Admin dashboard with full workforce stats and all nav items
Full nav, all 12 proctors, all vendors
Coordinator
Coordinator dashboard, same totals as admin, narrower nav
Same totals as Admin, narrower nav
Vendor
Vendor dashboard narrowed to 5 proctors, narrowest menu
Narrowed to this vendor only — 5, not 12
Two doors, one room

The Workforce Table

Admin and Coordinator both reach the same full Proctors table, with the same filters and bulk actions (aside from the handful of admin-only setup pages). Vendor sees the exact same table — same columns, same look — but it only ever shows that vendor's own proctors, and the Demo/Assessment columns gain a capability no other role has: a direct Set Ready action, since a vendor is the only party positioned to actually know when their own candidate is prepared.

Admin / Coordinator
Coordinator Proctors table, all 12 proctors across all vendors
All vendors, read-only Demo/Assess. icons
Vendor
Vendor My Proctors table showing only this vendor's proctors with Set Ready buttons
Only this vendor's proctors, with Set Ready
Admin (reference)
Admin Proctors table with bulk selection toolbar
Admin's own bulk-action toolbar, for comparison
This isn't just hidden in the menus: a Vendor account genuinely has no way to see another vendor's data at all, even if someone tried to get at it directly instead of through this screen.
Every page, every role
